PERMITS VALID FOR:
Single trip permits are valid for three (3) consecutive days.

OPERATING TIME
One-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset seven days a week, overweight loads may travel one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset seven days a week.

WEEKEND TRAVEL
Travel permitted Saturday and Sunday from one-half hour before sunrise until one-half hour after sunset.

DIVISIBLE LOADS
Loads shall be reduced to the least dimension or weight. Depending on rouges and length of movement exceptions may be made.

INFORMATION NEEDED TO ORDER A WIDE LOAD, OVERSIZE AND HEAVY HAUL PERMITS:
Description of the load, gross weight, axle weights and spacing's, dimensions, truck and trailer information, number of axles and license numbers.

(Escort driver must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license from the state or jurisdiction which the person is a resident. Submit an application for certification to the Size and Weight Division of the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. Submit with the application a certified copy of the person's driving record obtained within the thirty-day period immediately preceding the application for certification. Certificates of certification from other jurisdictions will be honored HOWEVER if you are a resident of Oklahoma you must have an Ok Certification.)

SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
No restrictions.

Overweight, Oversized & Wideload SuperLoads
Loads in excess of 185,000 lbs must obtain route approval from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Bridge Division, information should include number of axles, spacings, weight on axle and groups of axles, diagrams are required on loads over 180,000 lbs.

If the item being hauled is newly manufactured and 16' wide there will be a $250 special handling fee added to the permit cost. Allow 1 to 4 days for approval.
