PERMITS VALID FOR:
Single trip permits are valid for three (3) consecutive days, continuous daylight movement,
12 consecutive months
OPERATING TIME
One-half hour after sunrise to one-half hour before sunset
WEEKEND TRAVEL
Travel is permitted until ½ hour before sunset on Saturday, no Sunday travel.
DIVISIBLE LOADS
Must be broken down to least dimension and/or weight
EXCEPTIONS
Dozers with blades removed can haul the blade on the same trailer with the load
INFORMATION NEEDED TO ORDER A WIDELOAD, OVERSIZE AND HEAVY HAUL PERMITS:
Load description, overall dimension, tractor make and license number, origin and destination,
routes to be used, axle weights and spacings.

Restricted Travel
Movement of over length or over width load shall be discontinued during periods of inclement
weather, no city time restrictions stated as a rule.

Overweight, Oversized & Wideload SuperLoads
Loads over 20' wide, 15'6" high, 120' long, gross weight of 190,000 lbs constitutes a super load
Drawings, including axle weights and spacings are required
Must have letters from carrier and shipper, requesting permission to move
Loads 16' high must have a route survey
There is no time limit set by law on how quickly an application for a super load must be completed
