PERMITS VALID FOR:
Single trip permits are valid for five (5) consecutive days (excluding Saturday & Sunday).

Loads that are only overweight may travel anytime 24/7
DIVISIBLE LOADS
Will allow as long as weight remains legal and the additional item does not create the over
dimension.
EXCEPTIONS
Loads may be hauled with blades and counterweights etc attached, blades and counterweights
that are part of the equipment can be hauled with the load, buckets and drag line components must
be hauled separately, prefabricated items (structural steel, trusses, tanks, etc) limited to 16' wide,
15' high and 150' long.
INFORMATION NEEDED TO ORDER A WIDELOAD, OVERSIZE AND HEAVY HAUL PERMITS:
Applicant's name and address, load description, vehicle description, tractor unit, trailer license, trailer
length, overall dimensions, total number of axles, overhang front and rear, gross weight, origin and
destination routes.

SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
Usually February to April normal maximum axle weights allowable on rigid pavements shall be
reduced 25% and the maximum wheel load shall not exceed 525 lbs per inch width of tire, on
flexible pavements the maximum axle weights are reduced 35% and the maximum wheel load
shall not exceed 450 lbs per inch width of tire, no overweight permits are issued during spring
frost restrictions.

Overweight, Oversized & Wideload SuperLoads
Loads 16' wide, 15' high, 150' long and 200,000 lbs are considered super loads.
The following information must be submitted in writing by the shipper: Description of load,
number of pieces, load dimensions and overall dimensions, if over height a statement certifying
the route that has been surveyed, weight of object, origin and destination, routes, dates of move,
reason the load cannot be reduced and name of transporter if known, drawings required if more
than 11 axles. Allow 1 to 10 days for approval
